About Me

Dear Visitors,
I would like to introduce myself as a guide for English speaking tourists. My name is Václav Štorek and I was born in Prague in 1978. I studied history at the Charles University of Prague. I have been working as a licensed guide in the Czech Republic since 1998. The range of my work embraces not only Prague but also all other parts of the country. Thanks to my studies and my other interests I have learned the history, language and culture of English speaking countries as well and I enjoy meeting and working with English-speaking visitors to the Golden City of Prague. My experience in guiding, education and love of history enable me to feel confident in the field and I guarantee the quality of my services.
I like to travel, I am interested in architecture and art, I am fond of comparing languages and the history of particular countries. I am ready to show you not only the basic routes in Prague (Hradčany - Castle District, Prague Castle, Little Quarter (Lesser Town), Old Town, New Town, Jewish Town) but also more specialized ones (Architecture, Vyšehrad, Franz Kafka, Parks and Gardens, Cemeteries). Of course, I guide in other parts of the Czech Republic as well and I work as a tour manager (courier) in Central European countries (Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria, northern Italy, Germany). I hope, you will find my offer interesting and it will be a pleasure for me to answer any of your questions.
I wish you a nice stay in the Golden City with which you will surely fall in love.
